This project explores a novel measurement technique called Blade Tip Timing for assessing turbine blade vibrations in real-time. It aims to enhance the reliability and safety of turbines used in aircraft and power generation by improving maintenance practices.
Blade tip timing measurement technique (BTT) is a new growing measurement technology for non contact measurements of turbine blade vibrations during operation, fundamentals for performancies evaluation of under development aircraft engines, steam and gas turbine for power generation, and other industrial turbomachines.
