This project focuses on personalized cancer treatment by analyzing mutations in the p53 gene, which is commonly altered in tumors. It aims to develop tools that match treatments to specific p53 mutations, improving patient outcomes and reducing side effects.
Cancer is caused by a series of genetic alterations that confer an advantage to cancer cells, leading to uncontrolled growth.
