CAR-CHASE develops advanced chemical systems that facilitate direct asymmetric reactions using allylic and benzylic alcohols, producing water as the sole byproduct. This project integrates catalysis and green chemistry to enhance sustainable chemical processes.
CAR-CHASE offers a first class career integration program for an experienced researcher in the context of a high-impact research program at the interface of catalysis, dynamic covalent chemistry, asymmetric organic synthesis and green chemistry.
Complex chemical systems that self-organize will be developed that enable direct asymmetric reactions of allylic and benzylic alcohols and produce water as the only byproduct.
