This project focuses on developing advanced barrier layers and anticorrosive coatings using functionalized carbon nanosheets. These materials aim to enhance packaging, sealing, and protective applications while being cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
Materials with excellent diffusion barrier properties are highly relevant for packaging applications (food, pharmaceutics), sealing (car tires), protective encapsulation (microelectronics, photovoltaics, displays), and anticorrosive coatings (automotive).
