The CARES project aims to create an innovative platform that mimics the human tumor microenvironment to evaluate cancer cell responses to therapies. This technology seeks to improve drug development and enhance treatment outcomes for various cancers.
With 2 million cancer-related deaths and an annual cost of €100 billion, cancer constitutes a major European challenge.
