This project explores the intersection of literature and power in Caribbean writing since the 1960s. It examines how major authors address themes of violence, colonialism, and identity, while proposing new methodologies to analyze these works through the lens of biopolitics and community formation.
This research is located at the intersection of philosophy and literary studies – Biopolitics, Postcolonial Studies and Caribbean Studies – and proposes an innovative methodology to investigate the relationship between literature and power/politics.
