This project aims to develop new catalysts for converting renewable lignocellulose biomass into valuable chemicals. By focusing on the catalytic reductive lignocellulose fractionation process, it seeks to create efficient catalysts that enhance the production of fuels and chemicals from biomass.
The utilization of renewable lignocellulose biomass (composed of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin) alternative to fossil fuels is crucial for long-term economic and social stability.
