This project explores the manipulation of binary chemical reactions using femtosecond laser pulses. By applying advanced theoretical methods, it aims to achieve coherent control over the reaction dynamics between magnesium atoms and hydrogen molecules, enhancing our understanding of nonadiabatic molecular processes.
Coherent control is a method to manipulate the dynamics of a system on a pure quantum level by utilizing the interference effects.
