The CEDAR project aims to improve clinical decision-making for individuals with severe mental illness by developing assessment tools and conducting a multinational study. It will evaluate the impact of decision-making styles on patient outcomes, focusing on enhancing the quality of care in mental health services.
Background:
A considerable amount of research has been conducted on clinical decision making (CDM) in short-term physical conditions.
However, there is a lack of knowledge on CDM and its outcome in long-term illnesses, especially in care for people with severe mental illness.
