This project aims to develop a computational framework to understand how individual cells in tissues interact and change over time. By analyzing single-cell genomic data, it seeks to model tissue dynamics and apply these insights to areas like cell engineering and immunotherapy.
One of the most fundamental challenges in contemporary biology is in fact also one of the most classical ones: how to comprehend macroscopic tissue function from the activities of its microscopic cellular components.
