This project investigates the cerebellum's role in learning and behavior through advanced imaging and optogenetics in mice. By analyzing how sensory inputs affect motor adaptation, the research aims to uncover circuit deficits related to disorders like autism and explore potential therapeutic interventions.
Neural circuits operate to drive behaviour and can cause debilitating brain disorders when malfunctioning.
However, how circuit activity is causing learning and action and which modifications underlie the development of a disease is mostly unknown.
