This study examines the effects of noise pollution on cetacean hearing by analyzing cochlear structures. It aims to understand hearing sensitivities and potential damage caused by sound exposure, contributing to marine conservation efforts.
The morphological study of cetacean cochlea as well as the possible alterations associated to sound exposure, represent a key conservation issue to assess the effects of acoustic pollution on marine ecosystems.
