The project aims to innovate catalysis by integrating unconventional non-covalent interactions into molecular systems. By exploring chalcogen bonds, it seeks to develop new catalytic processes that could enhance asymmetric catalysis and metabolic engineering.
Major advances in science and technology are arising from the discovery and exploitation of new non-covalent interactions between molecules and the development of novel supramolecular functional systems.
