This project aims to develop the world's first chirality-based all-optical logic gates using two-dimensional materials. By exploring nonlinear optical processes, it seeks to create various logic gates that enable ultrafast data processing and parallel operations, enhancing computing efficiency.
With the ever-growing demand for carrying and processing data in a fast and efficient way, optical computing and processing methods have become a promising candidate for the next-generation computing and processing applications, due to many advantages, such as high-speed and parallel data processing, compared to their electronic counterparts.
