This project aims to enhance food quality and crop resilience by studying the protein quality control system in plants. It focuses on understanding how molecular chaperones and proteases interact to manage stress-induced protein damage in chloroplasts.
Improving food quality, crop productivity and plant resistance to stresses are major demands of Europe’s society and economy.
