This study explores the role of Eastern European circular migrants in the elderly care sector in Italy, particularly focusing on Romanian and Ukrainian workers. It aims to assess the implications of circular migration on employment relationships and the organization of home care services.
In its recent documentation on migration issues, the European Commission has been promoting “circularity” as an effective and efficient way to manage labour migration from both within and outside the EU.
