This project aims to develop CITRUS-PORT, a digital advisory platform for citrus fruit growers. It provides personalized advice on disease and pest management, aiming to reduce pesticide use by 30-40% while enhancing fruit quality and environmental sustainability.
European commercial fruit orchards are faced with critical issue: 20-25 chemical sprays performed every season only against fungal pathogens translate into 200-250 kg of toxic chemicals per hectare, polluting the environment and financially burdening producers.
