CIVIC EPISTEMOLOGIES aims to create a roadmap for involving citizens in scientific research, particularly in Digital Cultural Heritage and digital Humanities. The project promotes open data and seeks to enhance skills and engagement in the creative and cultural sectors.
CIVIC EPISTEMOLOGIES will develop and validate a Roadmap for e-Infrastructures development to support the participation of Europe's citizens in scientific research, focusing on Digital Cultural Heritage and digital Humanities (DCHH).
The partners are committed to the values of open data, open source and open innovation. ICT are powerful drivers of creativity, but parts of the creative and cultural sectors lack technical know-how.
