The CLAFIS project aims to develop an integrated solution for smart farming and forestry using a unified communication architecture. It focuses on automating processes such as seeding, spraying, and harvesting through an intelligent information management system.
The Crop, Livestock and Forest Integrated system (CLAFIS) will develop and demonstrate a pre-commercial intelligent integrated solution prototype based on a cross platform OPC unified architecture (OPC UA) specification entitling standards and related technologies for communication between automation systems and IT systems in farms and forest related process.
