This project develops a novel theranostic platform for prostate cancer treatment that allows for targeted drug delivery and real-time monitoring of therapeutic efficacy. By using advanced imaging techniques, it aims to improve treatment outcomes and reduce side effects associated with current therapies.
Cancer remains one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide.
Prostate cancer (PC) is currently the most common male malignancy and remains the leading cause of death.
Despite advances in chemotherapy, current strategies still carry severe side effects and offer limited benefit to the patient.
