CLIM4CROP aims to enhance agricultural resilience by utilizing seasonal climate forecasts for crop management. The project focuses on understanding climate impacts on crop yields and developing statistical models to improve decision-making in agriculture on a global scale.
When provided in a climate-services context, seasonal climate forecasts can enable a more effective adaptation to climate variability and change, offering an under-exploited opportunity to minimise the agricultural impacts of adverse climate conditions.
