This project focuses on identifying blood-based cancer biomarkers, specifically using circulating microRNAs from patients with Lynch syndrome. It aims to develop machine learning algorithms for cancer diagnosis and prediction, while also exploring the biological impact of these microRNAs on tumor growth.
Blood-based cancer biomarkers have become important research targets and together with the recent development of liquid biopsy methods and analysis, they have become interesting future tools for cancer diagnosis.
