This project aims to develop new antimicrobial therapies targeting the Coenzyme A biosynthesis pathway in drug-resistant microorganisms, particularly focusing on tuberculosis. By using innovative fragment-based approaches, the project seeks to create potent inhibitors that can combat multiple pathogens effectively.
The increasing prevalence of drug-resistant microorganisms worldwide and the shortage of novel antimicrobial chemotherapeutics in the pipeline places our capacity to treat infectious diseases under serious threat.
