COALESCE focuses on enhancing science communication across Europe by establishing a competence center. It aims to build cooperative relationships among stakeholders to improve public engagement with science and combat misinformation, especially during crises.
COALESCE will consolidate, further develop, and mainstream generated knowledge and connections on science communication to build up the European Competence Centre for Science Communication.
To achieve measurable and sustainable long-term impact of the Centre, project objectives will pivot on co-creation and co-design building on cooperative relationships with multiple stakeholders including scientific and journalist networks, as well as university alliances.
