The COBALT project addresses challenges related to the sustainable use of raw materials by promoting recycling and substitution strategies. It aims to raise awareness, build networks, and facilitate dialogue among stakeholders to improve resource efficiency and address skill shortages in the sector.
The COBALT project will contribute to addressing several key challenges on the route towards more sustainable use of raw materials and resource efficiency.
It will focus particularly on extraction, substitution, replacement and recycling of critical and scarce raw materials as well as raw materials with high environmental and social impacts.
