This project analyzes the effects of demographic changes, such as childbearing and marital disruption, on income, poverty, and child outcomes using data from the Gender and Generations Surveys. It aims to provide insights for policymakers by focusing on the consequences of these trends rather than their causes.
The project will be using the Gender and Generations Surveys (GGS) – a system of comparable micro-level surveys for several Developed countries – to analyse the consequences of demographic change.
The analysis will be using households and individuals as the unit of observation.
