This project explores various cultural traditions of future fiction, such as Afrofuturism and Sinofuturism, to understand their responses to global challenges like climate change. It aims to develop a theory of 'COFUTURES' that captures these diverse narratives and their implications.
This project investigates future fictions from five distinct traditions:
Afrofuturism, Sinofuturism, Arab/Gulf-futurism, Latin@futurism, and Indofuturism.
