This project focuses on developing a computational model for creative idea generation, inspired by human cognitive processes. By implementing a system that mimics conceptual blending, it aims to enhance our understanding of creativity and foster the development of autonomous creative technologies.
The capacity of combinational creativity---i.e., when novel ideas are produced through unfamiliar combinations of familiar ideas---is difficult to recreate computationally.
