This project develops a method for creating diverse genetic libraries of therapeutic antibodies using homologous recombination in yeast. By enabling efficient assembly and direct testing of antibody clones, it aims to enhance the affinity maturation process for various diseases.
Assembly of combinatorial genetic libraries for identification of biomolecules with novel or improved properties requires high fidelity and efficiency to produce the greatest spectrum of genetically diverse clones.
