This project aims to advance green roof technology through collaboration between a commercial provider and a research institution. It focuses on enhancing urban stormwater management, biodiversity, and overall urban living quality through the implementation of green roofs.
In the last 20 years green roofs (vegetated layers that sit on top of the conventional roof surfaces of a building) have become relatively commonplace in Germany, Austria and Switzerland because of their role in urban stormwater management.
