This project focuses on improving the casting processes for large titanium components, particularly for aerospace applications. By enhancing centrifugal and gravity casting techniques, it aims to reduce defects and increase production efficiency, ultimately lowering costs and environmental impact.
This proposal is in response to the call for EU and China collaboration on casting large Ti structures.
The consortium consists of 7 EU and 7 Chinese partners.
