COMIC aims at defining Cooperative Multipoint (CoMP) techniques focused on interference mitigation based on efficient scheduling design and beamforming.
These techniques will be divided into two groups.
In a first phase a set of ideal techniques will be proposed assuming a perfect knowledge of the system state (users’ location, speed, bit error rates, etc.). A huge number of variables will be taken into account, thus increasing the complexity of these optimization problems.
