This project investigates the role of biomolecular condensates in cellular processes, focusing on how kinase activity is regulated within these structures. By studying synthetic condensates, the research aims to uncover the mechanisms of kinase catalysis and their implications for cellular regulation and disease.
Biomolecular condensates are membraneless organelles that serve as specialized phase-separated microenvironments within which many cellular processes can occur efficiently and with precise spatial and temporal organization.
