The CONDUCT project focuses on enhancing the thermal management of electric motors using advanced materials. By employing carbon nanotubes, it aims to improve cooling efficiency, leading to more energy-efficient motor designs suitable for various industrial applications.
Electric motor drives are the universal work horses of industry driving fans, pumps, power tools, compressors and materials handling/conveyor systems.
More energy efficient motor designs are needed to meet increasingly stringent EU efficiency standards.
