The CONPHIRMER project develops a portable sensor that allows customs and law enforcement officers to identify counterfeit medicines without removing them from their packaging. Utilizing harmless radio waves, this device enhances the ability to screen pharmaceuticals quickly and accurately at borders and airports.
The CONPHIRMER consortium has come together to put into the hands of customs officers and other agents of law enforcement a portable and easy-to-use sensor for telling genuine medicines from fakes without having to remove the medicines from their packaging.
