This project is developing an AI-powered device for continuous blood glucose monitoring in Intensive Care Units. The device will automate glucose measurements and insulin delivery, significantly improving patient safety and reducing healthcare costs.
Intensive Care Units (ICUs) require careful monitoring of blood glucose levels and insulin infusion to keep patients within safe physiological levels.
Fluctuations of blood glucose are directly related to an increased risk of death and comorbidities.
