This project aims to make ultra-short laser pulses more accessible for various applications by developing a new method for generating these pulses. It focuses on using fiber laser technology to produce visible and near-infrared pulses for advanced scientific and industrial uses.
Ultra-short ultra-intense laser pulses are crucial for exploring state-of-the-art research and applications in new territories of extreme nonlinear optics in physics, chemistry, biology, medicine and for industrial purposes.
