This project seeks to address key issues in cosmology, such as the discrepancies in the Hubble constant, by developing deep learning tools for analyzing large datasets. It aims to enhance understanding of the universe's expansion and underlying physics.
Some of the biggest open problems in modern cosmology are the nature of the cosmic dark sector, the discrepancy between the theoretically predicted versus the observed value of the cosmological constant, and the growing cosmological discordances and tensions between different observational probes.
