This project aims to develop innovative sampling methods for analyzing the Cosmic Microwave Background data, which provides insights into the early universe. It seeks to enhance model testing and parameter estimation through advanced computational techniques.
Proposal summary (half page, possibly copy/paste abstract from the administrative form A1)Observations of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) allow us to see 98% of the way to the big bang, back to a time when the Universe was only a few hundred thousand years old.
Other forthcoming data will probe the more local universe in great detail.
