This project focuses on developing a diagnostic tool for detecting heart failure biomarkers in saliva, utilizing advanced microelectronics and bioMEMs technology. The goal is to create a point-of-care system that enables rapid and accurate screening for heart failure and related cardiovascular conditions.
Diseases of the heart and circulatory system are the main cause of death in Europe (over 4 million deaths each year).
