This project aims to improve balance control in children with Cerebral Palsy by combining behavioral training with advanced brain imaging techniques. It seeks to identify neural causes of balance issues and predict responsiveness to training using machine learning.
When an injury occurs to the developing brain, as in Cerebral Palsy (CP), these children typically experience sensorimotor disorders such as muscle weakness, abnormal muscle activity, and ataxia.
