This project investigates how the brain's serotonin system influences the ability to estimate controllability in various environments. By studying both healthy individuals and those with depression, it aims to uncover the neural mechanisms behind these processes and their implications for behavior and treatment.
Knowing the causal structure of a system enables controlling this system to our benefit.
