This project connects experts from various sectors to address mental health inequalities through a transatlantic network. It focuses on enhancing social inclusion by sharing knowledge on citizenship, recovery, stigma, and public policy, while prioritizing the experiences of individuals facing mental health challenges.
People with mental health problems experience significant inequalities including high levels of early mortality, morbidity, unemployment, poverty, isolation and social exclusion.
This also presents major health, social and economic challenges to wider society.
