CRISYS focuses on enhancing crisis management capabilities across the EU by developing a strategic roadmap for an integrated crisis management system. The project aims to engage users and suppliers to improve operational readiness and response to disasters.
The EU regularly suffers from natural and man-made disaster, the social and economical consequences of which may adversely affect its growth and competitiveness.
There is a growing vulnerability to disasters and subsequently an urgent need to improve operational capacities and capabilities of Member States.
