CROCUS addresses socio-economic challenges in rural and remote areas by developing sustainable cultural and creative tourism models. It aims to create cross-border living labs to prototype business models and foster cooperation among regions.
Rural and remote areas (RRA) are rich in cultural heritage, but many also suffer from socio-economic problems such as an ageing population, out-migration, and low incomes.
