This project seeks to enhance Cryo-Electron Tomography techniques for better 3D visualization of biological molecules. By developing advanced computational tools, it aims to improve the interpretation of tomograms, addressing challenges related to resolution and data processing.
Cryo-Electron Tomography (Cryo-ET) is a powerful technique that allows observing the 3D structure of biological molecules in their native cellular environment, and as such, has a unique promise to transform our understanding of biology at the mesoscopic level.
