This project focuses on the computational complexity of constraint satisfaction problems in infinite domains. It aims to develop theoretical frameworks and classifications for these problems, which are relevant in areas like artificial intelligence and finite model theory.
The complexity of constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) is a field in rapid development, and involves central questions in graph homomorphisms, finite model theory, reasoning in artificial intelligence, and, last but not least, universal algebra.
In previous work, it was shown that a substantial part of the results and tools for the study of the computational complexity of CSPs can be generalised to infinite domains when the constraints are definable over a homogeneous structure.
