This project investigates a method for activating inert carbon-hydrogen bonds to enable the enantioselective synthesis of fluorinated compounds. It aims to create a greener synthesis process that minimizes waste and enhances the properties of pharmaceutical compounds.
The Project will deal with the activation of inert Csp3-H bonds and the enantioselective addition of fluorocarbon nucleophiles to lead to the enantioselective synthesis of fluorinated compounds.
