Cure4Aqua focuses on improving the health and welfare of farmed seafood by developing vaccines and sustainable alternatives to antibiotics. The project aims to enhance aquaculture resilience through better disease management and welfare standards, addressing environmental and economic challenges.
Farmed seafood is an important source of protein for food and feeds with a low-carbon footprint which has an important role to play in helping to build a sustainable food system.
