The CURVE-ONE project focuses on developing curved sensors for affordable imaging systems, aiming to prototype and recommend mass production methods. It seeks to commercialize these technologies for scientific instruments and amateur astronomy applications, with support from industry partners.
Pillar II of the ERC-STG-ICARUS aimed at paving the way to a common use of curved sensors for cost-effective imaging systems, through prototyping and recommendation for mass production.
The next steps towards commercialisation and industrialisation are proposed in this PoC project to: improve the repeatability, prepare the industrialisation, realise market studies and outline a business plan.
